Is a yes or no tarot reading accurate?
Not in any measurable sense. One card cannot know what will happen, and no shuffle has access to your circumstances. What the tool does is give you a fixed point to react to, and your reaction is the useful part. People often notice they are disappointed by a yes, or relieved by a no, and that tells them something the deck never could. Treat the answer as entertainment and as a way of hearing your own preference more clearly.
Can I ask the same question again?
You can, and most people do. It is worth noticing what you are doing, though. Drawing repeatedly until a card agrees with you turns the deck into a rubber stamp, and the reading stops telling you anything. A gentler rule: ask once, sit with whatever came up, and come back tomorrow if the question is still alive. If you find yourself drawing five times in an evening, the honest reading is that you have already decided and would like company.
What does a maybe mean?
Some cards do not lean cleanly either way, and the tradition reads them as conditional rather than undecided. The High Priestess, Temperance and The Hanged Man all say much the same thing: something is not ready yet, or you do not have all of it in view. A maybe is usually an invitation to name the missing piece. Ask what you would need to know before the question could be answered at all, and go and find that out instead.
Which questions work best?
Small, specific and about your own conduct. Should I write back to my brother? Is it worth putting my name down for the course? Those give the card something to land on. Questions about other people's private feelings, and anything touching health, legal trouble or money you cannot afford to lose, belong with the people qualified to help.
